Terms to Understand

Some important notes regarding the fields below:

  1. To enable delivery on your shop, make sure this feature is enabled.
  2. Name Of Page:  This field lets you change the label ‘Delivery’ to another label that is better known in your industry.  For example for a Mobile Dog Wash business, the label delivery would not make sense to their customers compared with “On-Site Service”.
  3. Shop Banner image:  Upload an image you would like to display at the bottom of your Delivery page. The image could contain a message regarding your delivery services. Or you could upload a banner promoting your offers for upcoming special occasions.
  4. Show Banner Image: When checked the banner image you’ve uploaded will be shown on the delivery feature page.
  5. Min Time Delay:  The time you select here will restrict your customers from scheduling delivery times that are before the Min Time Delay.  For example, if a 30-minute delay has been set for delivery, and your customer places an order at 10 am, then your customer will not be able to request delivery earlier than 10:30 am.
  6. Min Order: Enter the minimum value before delivery is offered.
  7. Free Delivery Above:  Enter the minimum value before FREE delivery is offered.
  8. Max Delivery Distance:  Enter the value of the distance to which delivery will be available.
  9. Allow Same day delivery: When to check you are allowing your customers to request delivery on the same day.
  10. Show Image: When checked the image(s) of the product you have uploaded will be shown for each product or an image placement will be shown in the absence of any images being uploaded.
  11. Show Description:  When checked the description of the product will be shown for all the products in your shop.
  12. Store Layout:  Choose the appropriate store layout for your shop feature.  Short Description layout will display your 4 products across one row.  And Long Description layout will display one product per row.
  13. Email Order To:  Enter the email in which you want to receive a copy of the order confirmation for delivery.
  14. Copy Emails To: Enter the email in which you want to receive a second copy of the order confirmation for delivery.  Please note that if you have an e-print printer – you can enter the email of the printer here to send a copy of the order straight to be printed on the printer.
  15. Add Custom Delivery Charges
  16. You can add the delivery for various distances.
  17. Select the distance and assign a delivery price for that distance, then click add.
  18. Continue to do so until you have priced up to your Maximum Delivery Distance.
  19. Terms and Conditions:  Here is where you specify the terms and conditions for delivery.
