Step 4: Pick-up Settings

In this article, you will learn how to complete the Pick-up settings if you want to offer pick-up or take away services from your e-commerce store and start selling online.

Note: You only need to complete the pick-up settings if you offer Pick-up or Take-away options

Terms to Understand

Some important notes regarding the fields below:

  1. Name of Page:  This field lets you change the label ‘Pickup’ to another label that is better known in your industry.  For example “Take Away” or “Click and Collect”.
  2. Shop Banner image:  Upload an image you would like to display at the bottom of your Pickup page. The image could contain a message regarding your pickup services. Or you could upload a banner promoting your offers for upcoming special occasions.
  3. Show Banner Image: When checked the banner image you’ve uploaded will be shown on the delivery feature page.
  4. Min Time Delay:  The time you select here will restrict your customers from scheduling pickup times that are before the Min Time Delay.  For example, if a 30-minute delay has been set for pickup, and your customer places an order at 10 am, then your customer will not be able to request pickup earlier than 10:30 am. 
  5. Allow Same day pickup: When check you are allowing your customers to request pick up on the same day. 
  6. Show Image: When checked the image(s) of the product you have uploaded will be shown for each product or an image placement will be shown in the absence of any images being uploaded.
  7. Show Description:  When checked the description of the product will be shown for all the products in your shop.
  8. Store Layout:  Choose the appropriate store layout for your shop feature.  Short Description layout will display your 4 products across one row.  And Long Description layout will display one product per row.
  9. Email Order To:  Enter the email in which you want to receive a copy of the order confirmation for delivery. 
  10. Copy Emails To: Enter the email in which you want to receive a second copy of the order confirmation for delivery.  Please note that if you have an e-print printer – you can enter the email of the printer here to send a copy of the order straight to be printed on the printer.
  11. Terms and Conditions:  Here is where you specify the terms and conditions for pickup.
