Why is this feature important?
Accurately segmenting your contacts will allow you to better personalise your communication with each segment. You can send personalised newsworthy emails or autoresponders (pre-scheduled emails) to specific Groups and Lists. Go to Newsletters Module to learn more about sending newsletters and autoresponders.
From the Segment Listing page, you will be able to:
Add a New Segment
Step 1 - Add a new group
On the Add Segment popup form, make sure the Group segment type is selected, enter the name of the group in the text box and then click Save.
Step 2 - Add a new list
On the Add segment popup form, choose segment type List, then select the Group from the dropdown and enter the name of the list before clicking Save.
View Segment Contacts
Segment contacts are contacts who are assigned to a segment.
View Segment Contacts allows you to see all the contacts that have been assigned to a segment.
From View Segment Contact page, you will be able to:
View contact lists
From the Action column within the Contact list, you can access View Contact Details to learn more about your contact as well as removing a contact from the Segment.
The View Newsletter tab shows a list of newsletters that have been sent or scheduled to be sent to the contacts within the segment.
The View Autoresponder tab shows a list of newsletters that have been scheduled to be sent automatically to contacts added to the segment.
