Editing Autoresponders

Follow the steps below to edit an existing autoresponder.

 

STEP 1:  From the Nurture Module > Autoresponder Tab, locate the autoresponder that you want to make a copy of and from the Actions Dropdown menu select Edit Autoresponder

STEP 2:  On the Edit Autorseponder page edit the name, email subject and the autoresponder category for the new autoresponder if required and click Next.

STEP 3:  Choose the Group or List containing the target contacts who you want to receive this autoresponder email.

 

Please note:  Contacts added to the Group and List will receive this autoresponder email as per the triggers set out in step 4 -- this will include any future contacts added to the Group and List.

 

STEP 4:  Set the triggers (criteria) for when this autoresponder should be sent to the Group and List.  You can choose the trigger to be by any one of the following:

  1. Time Based: Choose this trigger if you want to send the autoresponder within a specific number of days when the contact has been assignd to the Group or List
  2. Event Based: Choose this trigger if you want to send the autoresponder to contacts where the selected events are applicable to them.
  3. Behaviourial Based: Choose this trigger if you want to send the email autoresponder to contacts based on any one of the behaviours:
    1.  have added specific offers to their wishlist
    2.  have purchased specific offers
    3.  are following your sotre

 

Setting Time Based Triggers

  1. Enter the number of days after joining the group or list selected above before the autoresponder email will be sent to the contacts assigned to the group / list.
  2. Specify the time which the email will be sent on that day.

 

Setting Event Based Triggers

Please note this feature enables the seller to send an email to their contacts days before the selected special event.

 

  1. Enter the number of day(s) before the event for the email should be sent.
  2. Select the exact time you want the email to be sent
  3. Select one or more events which the contacts need to have made available
  4. Choose the date range for which the selected event must occur within.

 

Setting Behaviourial Based Triggers

  1. Choose the number of day(s) (after specific triggers) which the autoresponder will be sent.
  2. Select the exact time you want the email to be sent
  3. Choose any one of the following trigger behaviours: 
    1. Add Offers To Wishlists,
    2. Purchased Offers,
    3. Following My Store
  4. Choose the specific offers where applicable
  5. Choose the date range for which the selected behaviour must occur within.

 

STEP 5:  Editing the newsletter content

  1. Click on the newsletter image to open the enewsletter editor
  2. Make the neccessary edits to the enewsletter
  3. Once you have completed with making changes, click Save Options on the left and then save changes.
